About the event
An 8-week Interactive Live course, you will learn tools to identify and manage emotions in your Self-Discovery Journey.
Nelly Kwasinwi, a Transformational & Mental Fitness Coach will share with you years of experience she gained from the health and social care sector where she worked in mental & general health settings, prison, and social services. She used the tools personally to transform her life to the person she is today.
She understands the importance our emotions play in our lives. However, society has thought us to ‘bottle up’ these emotions and we are unable to be true to ourselves because of fear.
What the Course will cover:
Module 1: Identify your emotions
“Our emotions have a mind of their own, one which can hold views quite independently of our rational mind.” Daniel Goleman.
Recognise your emotions, differentiate your emotions from those of others and how it impacts you.
Module 2: Identify your beliefs
The two primary emotions are LOVE and FEAR. Past experiences shape our beliefs, how we interpret and deal with present situations.
Module 3: Importance of being aware of your emotions
It helps you to be in control of your emotions, set personal boundaries, communicate your emotional states clearly and feel better by knowing what decisions lead to feeling good.
Module 4: Clarify what you want
Not knowing what you want to achieve leads to doubts and confusion. Get clarity, set achievable goals and actions to stay focused to achieve what you want.
Module 5: Barriers, and myths
Society has taught us to live in fear based on our survival past instincts. This breeds fear and misinformation that acts as barriers to identify, understand and communicate our emotions.
Module 6: Altering distorted thinking
Due to fear, our default thinking is negative, and it alters our reality. Change the distorted thinking with those that are empowering and stay in control of your emotions.
Module 7: Problem solving
Develop skills to respond to rather than being reactive to situations/events. The situations may remain the same, and how you interpret and deal with them would be different when you separate your emotions from your thoughts.
Module 8: Mindfulness
Use mindfulness as a skill to become more self-aware, calmer, less stressed, respond to your thoughts and feelings, cope with difficult or unhelpful thoughts and be kinder towards yourself.
Course delivery
- 8 Amazing Modules to increase awareness of your emotions
- 8 weeks Live Training on Zoom in a small group for 90 mins
- Live training with Transformational & Mental Fitness Coach, Nelly Kwasinwi
- The trainings will be recorded – you would be able to watch in case you miss out some points
- 8 weeks self-study with additional training, tools, strategies and tasks
- Two 1-1 calls with Nelly on week 2 and 6 to track your progress
- Support in between sessions by email, messenger.
