I Want to Understand My Situation
I am functioning, but something inside me has changed 🤔
You May Still Be Performing.
But You Know Something Has Changed.
-
you feel emotionally exhausted before the day has even started
-
you second-guess your professional decisions
-
you struggle to switch off after work
-
you have become more reactive than you used to be
-
you find yourself saying YES when you want to say NO
-
your confidence has quietly declined
-
work has begun affecting your personal life
-
you have lost sight of what you actually want
-
you feel disconnected from the person you were before the pressure became overwhelming.
Burnout Isn't Always Just About Being Busy.

-
Sometimes the problem isn't simply how much work you have.
-
It is what prolonged pressure has changed in the way you think, feel, respond, communicate and see yourself.
-
Your professional role may have become so important that you have forgotten there is a whole person behind it.
There Is a Person Behind Every Professional
-
Before you became a social worker, nurse, healthcare assistant, support worker, manager or professional, you were a person with values, experiences, emotions, beliefs, hopes and boundaries.
-
Your personal experiences influence how you practise.
-
Your professional experiences influence who you become.
-
Sustainable professional performance therefore requires more than professional knowledge.
-
It requires understanding the person behind the profession.

The 5As of Transformation

Awareness: Understand what is happening beneath the surface.
Acceptance: Acknowledge where you are without judging yourself.
Accommodate: Create space for your emotions, needs, values and humanity
Action: Turn insight into practical change.
Accountability: Build the consistency needed to sustain that change.
Rest Isn't Just Stopping.
Sometimes Rest Means Returning to Yourself.
Rest your Body: Sleep, recovery, physical wellbeing and sustainable routines.
Rest your Mind: Reduce mental overload, rumination and constant decision-making.
Rest your Emotions: Recognise, process and regulate what you carry.
Rest your Identity: Remember that you are more than your professional role.
The goal isn't to help you escape your profession.
It is to help you remain YOURSELF while doing meaningful work.
Imagine Going to Work Without Losing Yourself in the Process.

Take the First Step
The Positive Intelligence program has moved and transformed me. I have learnt a lot; I will not give away my power for people to control me.
I use the PQ reps (mental exercises) regularly and it is helping me as I continue to improve, grow, and learn everyday.
Now I feel alive, up and doing. I have realised my values, I feel happier being in a positive mindset. I know that there is a true me. I am still going through life changes because I know I can be better than who I am today.
Challenges are learning opportunities in life. Never regret what has happened to you. It’s for a purpose. Learn to let go; learn from the errors and be a better you.
I invite others to join the Positive Intelligence program with Nelly. It will help you to manage life challenges, identify your abilities, learn, grow to be the true you and who you want to be.
Don’t hold yourself back. There is still a true you!
